14 months
Another month has come and gone and Grace continues to change by the minute. This month has been an exciting month. At the beginning of the month Grace took her first little steps. The one thing with Grace's walking is that she only does it when Grace wants to. With the end of summer came me starting another school year and Grace headed to the baby-sitters three days a week. We started a new baby-sitter this year as last year's sitter was no longer watching children. With the new baby-sitter came lots of new friends and the best part is that they are all around Grace's age. She has a new little friend, Troy, who refers to Grace as "lady." He likes to bring her toys to play with. Of course Grace tilts her head to the side and say, "Hiiiiiiiiiii" in a flirtatious voice. Grace's love for reading continues. She now will bring you a book and say, "reed, peez." This month we will start working on comprehension strategies. Rich's work has slowed down and he is taking advantage of the extra time to take Grace on "Friday Dates." These dates often consist of a trip to Burger King or McDonald's (Grace gets to choose), a trip to the park, swimming, or playing in the rain. She is becoming a daddy's girl more and more. Grace's love for music keeps growing as well. She has added "This Little Light of Mine" to her song list. Her favorite motions are blowing on her finger. While watching Baby Praise she likes to walk over to the piano, play a few keys and sing, "B-I-B!" A few of Grace's new words this month are: peez(please), reed(read), kis(keys), yum yum, and Tis(for Uncle Chris).

Grace loves her nightly wagon rides around the neighborhood.
