June 2011

The last month of the 2's have come and gone.  Summer vacation started for Mom so that means we had a lot of time to play!  We have been to the splash pad and zoo many times.  We also squeezed in a trip to Chicago to see Aunt Anne and Charlie (plus the rest of our Chicago family) and a family vacation with the Dickmeyer clan.

Carter and Amber came to the zoo with us one day and we had lots of fun!

Grace is not letting her prince charming get away from her!

Our wonderful dear friends the Fudge's purchased Grace and Caroline gift cards to Build-A-Bear to make bears in memory of papaw.  Grace chose a bear, an IU shirt, blue jeans, glasses and black shoes all like papaw's.  For Caroline we just made her a stuffed bear.  

We also celebrated Father's Day this month.  The girls wore shirts that said, "My dad rocks" to church and we took Rich out for breakfast.  

This month could also be called the month of Charlie.  Grace loves her little cousin Charlie.  They both love to spend time with one another.  Charlie came to see us in Indiana, we went to see him in Chicago and we went on vacation together.  Charlie has a little brother, Sam, but he and Caroline hangout while Grace and Charlie hangout.

Best of al this month our family got to spend a whole week together.  On the same sleeping schedule!  We spent 4 days at beautiful Lake Michigan with swimming, shopping, eating and playing!
