While looking for books one day at the library we came across a flyer for The Monarch Festival. It was love at first sight for Grace. She has loved butterflies since her day with Mrs. D at Canterbury. We knew we needed to try and get to the festival. As the day drew closer Grace decided she wanted to invite her cousin Ellie for some "girl time." The plans were made and the day came.

Reading books about butterflies.
Searching for monarch butterflies.
Pretending to drink nectar from her probiscus.
Flying through the field with their butterfly wings.
The festival was super kid-friendly and everything Grace hoped for and more. It will definitely be on the calendar for next Fall again.
