Grace is 21!
(months that is)

Another month has come and gone. Let me be the first to say, if you thought Grace was cute before now, you haven't seen nothing yet!

Grace's vocabulary has increased tremendously.  Grace is talking in short sentences.  She says, "What's that?"  "Daddy all done."  When you ask her what she wants for breakfast she says, "waffel, gips, nanna, milky."  Her favorite thing to say is, "pay, outside, peez."

Along with Grace's vocabulary has been the expanding of her concert song list.  She has added, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "The Wheels on the Bus,"  "The ABC's" and bits and pieces of "Blessed Assurance."  Rich's prediction is that she is going to be a soprano.

Grace's love for reading is also growing.  She now requests to take a book to bed with her.  One night at Emmy's she took one book to bed with her but that just wasn't enough.  Here is how I found her later that night.

Grace's imagination is growing as well.  She loves to play pretend.  Her favorite pretend to play is shopping.  She will put a jacket on, grab her purse, keys and say, "bye-bye!"  She is often off to "darget" to get a toy for cousin Charlie.

Speaking of cousin Charlie, he's here.  5 1/2 weeks early but he is here.  Grace was interested in pictures of Charlie at first but when Mamaw and Papaw start talking about him Grace quickly does a cute trick to change the topic.  She's hoping to meet him in the near future.

With the nice weather lately came trips to the park.  Last Summer Grace was still pretty small for the park.  This year she went straight to the big slide and slid down with no help or hesitation.

The big girl room renovations have begun.  Grace is getting a "dress up" themed room.  Hopefully by next month it will be ready for the revealing.  As for now it is only taped off and waiting to be painted.

That's all for this month.  Same time, same place, next month on the 3rd.
