Grace now dresses herself.  The one rule is that mommy gets to pick her clothes on school days and the other days she can pick what she wears.  This obviously was a day she did not have school.  They do not know what they are missing at Canterbury by having a dress code of no sandals and dresses in preschool.

This month was pretty eventful.  Uncle David has moved from Chicago to Indianapolis.  Grace is super excited because we often go through Indy on our way to IU games.  She is hoping to see lots of him.  He stopped by to play with Grace one evening before moving to Indy.  Grace loved having his undivided attention at the sandbox.

This month marked the beginning of preschool.  Grace is now a Cavalier and what that entails is 3 days of fun a week!  Mom and Dad went to Back to School Night and Grace's teacher, Mrs. D., sent home homework for Grace.  We had to make a scrapbook page all about Grace.  We included pictures of our favorite people; Caroline, Uncle David, Uncle Chris, Charlie and Sadie.  We also included purple writing, purple ribbon and glitter!  

Rich is once again the head of the carpool line.  He handles getting Grace to school and once a week volunteers to get the other kids out of their cars.  Grace loves having her dad at school and her dad loves the chance to talk with the kids.  On the first day Rich took Grace to school and then stayed to have coffee with the parents since she was only at school for a hour the first day.  

Come one Grace wake up and play with me before school!

We ended the month with a trip to Holland, Michigan.  We went shopping, ate great food and played at a park.  What more could you ask for, plus the weather was BEAUTIFUL!
