School Picture Day 2011 |
I think Grace has aged years in the past month. Everyday she seems to have learned something new or is interested in something new. Her love for learning continues to grow and she has now developed a love for art as well. Her love for art partially comes from her teacher Mrs. D. Grace reports that they get to paint in school almost everyday! Mrs. D has even taught them how to paint green, orange and purple when they do not have those colors. Grace is fascinated with painting and wants to paint every night. We may have a young Picasso on our hands.
Another of Grace's loves is her cousin Charlie. She got to see cousin Charlie two times this month! Our first adventure was to Indianapolis to visit Uncle David for his birthday. We went to the children's museum for the first time ever. Let's just say we will definitely going back especially since Uncle David is living in Indy now.

"Hold on Grace, I'm going to show you how fast this car can go!" |

Strutting herself on the Barbie runway. |

Mom even got in on the action. |
|
Giving Uncle David some of her original artwork. |
Our 2nd Charlie adventure was to Chicago for a family reunion. Grace didn't care much about the people she met she cared more about the quality time with Charlie.
|
"Grace, put down the water bottle and you won't get hurt." |
|
"Charlie, you need to stay hydrated." |
|
"Charlie, will our mom's ever quit taking pictures of us? " |

We ended the day with a little swinging time at the park. |
Grace's favorite thing of all is being a big sister. Grace loves singing to Caroline, playing with Caroline, getting a diaper for Caroline, reading to Caroline and just plain being with Caroline.
Another month has come and gone. I continue to be amazed by the curiosity, wisdom, generosity and endearment that can come from such a young child.
