This month marked 3 major events for one pretty awesome 3-year old. First off we headed to the pumpkin patch with Grace's preschool class. Actually not just her class but all 4 classes. Nothing like 20+ preschoolers on a bus with their parents for a 45 minute drive to the pumpkin patch. Dad went to the pumpkin patch last year so this year it was mom's turn.

Next up was The Haunted Hall of Hoops at IU. This has become the Dickmeyer way of celebrating Halloween. I think we are more excited about seeing the IU basketball team than Halloween itself, but hey it is family fun at its best. This year we included Uncle David, or should we say "Super Uncle David!"

We did watch a little basketball too. |
The last event was the Halloween party at school. The Cavaliers do not put on a hat parade they go all out with full costumes. Grace of course wanted to be princess, along with the rest of her girl classmates. Rich volunteered to help during the party so he dressed up as all of the girl's prince charming.

We also packed our Operation Christmas Child boxes this month. Since our last family mission project was collecting pennies for the invisible girls in India Grace assumes our boxes are headed to girls in India as well. Grace chose yo-yos, socks, coloring books, stickers, gumballs and other fun things for our boxes. This year since our family has grown each girl filled their own box. (Well, maybe Caroline just rode in the shopping cart.)
