Grace is on cloud 9! She has finally started piano lessons. She had been wanting to learn to play the piano. After a little looking around we found woman who has her Masters Degree in Teaching Piano to preschool-aged children. Grace is in class with five other 4-year olds. I think the teacher is also working on her sainthood.
Grace is a very studious student. She insists on practicing every night when I tried to tell her that you don't have to practice on the night you have your lesson her response was, "Mama, how will I learn if I don't practice?" Needless to say her future looks much brighter than her mom's piano playing career.
Rich loves to practice with her. I had started practicing with her when her lessons first started but then Rich asked if he could. It is a good thing we switched because this week's lesson was getting a little too hard for me.

Caroline also likes to help out with practice as well. Grace is trying to learn to play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" for Caroline. Grace told her maybe that could be her birthday present.
Here's hoping that playing the piano will help pay for college tuition!
