From Grace's first lesson she has loved every moment of piano lessons and practicing. You never have to convince Grace to practice. She is always more than willing to work on her lesson. Often times she will just go into her room and play for the fun of it. Grace's teacher is moving with her family to San Diego where her husband is taking on a position with the San Diego Children's Choir. Therefore, her teacher decided to end their time together with a recital. Grace was able to choose her own piece and practice it up. Grace played the entire piece by memory! We were so proud of her. The recital was at Ascendo Piano, where Grace will continue lessons. This was a chance for the parents to meet the new teacher and discuss the possibility of taking lessons at this studio. After the recital and talking with the new instructor there was no doubt in our mind we signed Grace up for lessons and Grace has now asked at least 5 times this evening when her lessons will start.

I am crossing my fingers that Grace inherits her dad's abilities when it come to music.
