We kicked the month off with a fun Valentine's Day party at school. Let me say it again Grace LOVES school. She loves her friends, she loves her teachers, she loves the fun activities they do, she loves the library and she loves gymnastics class. She loves it so much that we decided to sign up for next year too. I'm not sure how the news will go over that Mrs. Reuille will not be her teacher, we'll wait to break that news until August.
At the Valentine's party they made Valentine's day head pieces, had yummy snacks and passed out their valentines.
The biggest event of the month was that Disney Princesses on Ice came to Fort Wayne. Grace really enjoyed the show. She was excited that Aunt Carrie got to come along as well. Best of all, Minnie and Mickey made an appearance at the show. Grace had two requests for the outing #1 that she could wear her "parkly"(sparkly) shoes and #2 we could have popcorn for snack.
"Momma, we have to clap when they do something good." |
We also celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Nobody rocks leg warmers like Grace. Caroline was even festive in her onsie that said "This is me first St. Patty's Day."
A big highlight of the month was Baby Charlie's first birthday party. We made the trip to Chicago. The night before Grace insisted that she needed her fingernails painted for the party and that she needed to once again wear her "parkly" shoes for the festivities. Grace loves any chance she gets to see Baby Charlie. Charlie isn't much of a baby anymore but good luck telling Grace any differently.
Waiting for her nails to dry. |
Grace loves to play anything! Preschool has really helped to foster her imagination. Her love for dress up continues and she has even found a new friend to dress up with.
A new favorite is to play band. Grace hasn't chose an instrument to focus on instead she has become a one woman show.
We are on Spring Break this week so that fun will continue.
Until next month...
