It has been a long month at the Dickmeyer house this month.  Early in the month we lost a great man.  Papaw went home to Heaven.  Even though we know he is in Heaven that doesn't make the loss any easier.  Grace knows Papaw is in Heaven but she often tells me that she misses him and wishes he would come to Emmy's so they could play.

 Grace continues to love to be a big sister.  I hope these two girls grow up to be the best of friends.  Grace loves to play with Caroline, talk to Caroline, sing to Caroline and just plain do anything that involves Caroline.

The warm weather this month brought the opening of the splash pad.  Grace is now an expert at the splash pad.  She doesn't need any help with anything.  She runs through the sprinklers on her own and plays on the play sets all by herself.

The end of the month brought the end of preschool.  We are going to miss Mrs. Reuille and Mrs. McNabb.  Next year's teachers have BIG shoes to fill.  Grace has loved every minute of preschool!  She has made great friends, great memories and learned lots.  The year ended with a hungry caterpillar picnic along with singing.
